Using STEAM to Create Leprechaun Traps

We worked in groups to create traps to catch the leprechaun. The kids really used their engineering, art, mathematic, and science, skills to make these traps. I was pleasantly surprised to see them working so diligently, Maybe this year we will catch this sneaky leprechaun!

STEM in the Classroom...

Today the my students had a blast acting like scientist and engineers creating army man launchers. They had a limited amount of materials, but big ideas!!!! I was pleasantly surprised at how far their launchers threw the army man. They love STEAM! Get it here!
